As Trish says Deseine, author of "Sweets & Pastries , cane syrup sweet part of the Anglo-Saxon heritage. This recipe belongs to the book and is a true delight. An ideal finish to a meal.
time ago I was talking a person of the company producing the molasses Frigiliana (Spain's last active Ingenio) and told him that could make many recipes with molasses, different from the traditional to are here: Pancakes with honey Cod, fried eggplant, Arropías ... ..
The Anglo pastries there are plenty of recipes that syrup. It is true that relate to the molasses they use (Golden Syrup), but it is always replaceable Frigiliana cane syrup. Likewise, you can replace the maple syrup Canadian prescriptions, which are not the same, interchangeable.
why I have decided to expand a little on the traditional repertoire of the use of molasses from Frigiliana and I'll show you, to see what you think. This honey can be purchased and in any supermarket and is completely natural and is also great, because although it is very sweet, not cloying.
